I think the Czechs will try to run it up as most likely Slovakia will be 2-1 after they beat Latvia, and after the Czechs beat Latvia they will also be 2-1. So they need that goal differential. Fade Latvia the rest of the tournament, IMO. These teams need goals.

I like this game allot to load up on. Jagr wants back in the NHL so he he will be gunning for the net and the Czechs have good NHL talent on their team. Latvia just doesn't have the horses to compete here. I like laying the three goals but I like the over also.

my spread is at -3.5. I really really really believe that this game is going to be a close one. I am thinking within two goals actually. I am really thinking about taking Slovakia at +3.5.

I think the O/U at 5.5 is too close to call. I think the Czech could easily put up 4+ goals in this game, but they could also be stopped fairly easily. I won't be making a bet on the O/U

I don't think czech match up well vs Latvia. They are traditionally a team that want to defend and counter which they can't do as 3.5 goal favs. I'm leaning Latvia pretty heavily here. One thing you have to consider as well is that Latvia has a lot of players from dinamo riga which is a middle of the pack KHL team. That is a good thing because that means the players know each other well and they should not need many games to get into form.
