i dont think all the Latvia players played together for any longer then that nhl guys on team USA. they might play in russia but they are mostly from different teams and never played together.
honestly i dont think they have a chance to beat USA. Swiss have only two nhl players on the roster. the rest are no-name players. they will get smoked. i see team USA scoring at least 8 goals. Provided they are a bit beat up and the talent on the offensive end is not what we are used to in years past but still, they are NHL caliber players. i think USA -2.5 or even -3 is a great bet. i will be wagering on that for sure.

Clear USA victory and clear under.
I think you should pay attention to what you say because if people thought what you said was the truth they must have lost a few bucks.... Just keep in mind the bookmakers know what they are doing with this USA -2,5 line, so don't jump to early conclusions and say the US will score 8 goals easily, without knowing anything, that could mislead many people. My advice would be to watch as many games as possible during this preliminary round to get a better feel of the teams and a better understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of each one.
That being said, I was a bit disappointed with Switzerland today, they covered but I had hoped for a better offensive display. And it won't be the next game they will improve this area, as they're playing Canada on Thursday....!

Damn man you make it sound like i insulted your mother. i just said at the beggining of the day that i didnt think that olympic hockey was that serious and thus there will be lots of scoring.

i never claimed to be an international hockey expert and even if i said that i woudl be wagering on it, i dont think that would influence any other bettors considering that i do not have any track record in international hockey.

i was going to wager on the over and us -2.5 but decided against it when i read all the threads.
