Hefty price for a lousy Minny team who can't even keep pucks outta their own net. But with Kovalchuk's departure plus Minny's over-rated home/road split, this nutty price was anticipated. Thrashers win this game much more often than people seem to think, imo, and they still got the Blue Crew babydolls behind 'em. Thrashers, baby!!!

Not a big fan of the over myself, because I don't think Minny's offense will sustain it's recent "surge", nor do I think they'll continue allowing 4-5 goals/game. Don't get me wrong, I still think their defense is bad, but there were lots of freak goals scored during the last few weeks in Minny's games that probably shouldn't have scored.

The O/U would probably be 6 if Kovalchuk were still in a Thrashers uniform, but they still have this thing juiced a little too much toward the over. If anything I'd bet "under" at current price, but I really think the value's with Atlanta ML.

I don't know the names involved in the trade, but Minny's defense has been so bad the last few weeks that any trade can only be an improvement.
