With just a few days until the Olympic break, today seemed like the perfect day to start my new SBR thread, Biscuit Breakfast.
I will be providing 1-3 daily picks as well as my thoughts on the current action in the NHL. Please note that my picks are made before the goalie assignments. There will be times where a play is cancelled because of a goalie change. I will try to post my change as soon as possible.
NEW JERSEY DEVILS ML OVER NASHVILLE
NJ failed to beat the Flyers both times this week, 3-2. If you didn't see the second NJ goal and the hit that followed you can't appreciate their frustration. I think it was Carter on the Flyers who cleaned the clock of the Devil scorer just after he gave the Devs a 2 goal lead. The hit was clean but vicious. Don't get me wrong, I hate the Devils! They wanted to win both of those games bad and failed. They will skate mad tonight in Newark, lovely city that it is.
Nashville has been hanging out in snowy Manhattan the past few nights. They are feeling pretty good after their win against the blue shirts. They win a little over half on the road this year while NJ wins 2:1 at home.
Good Luck
