Bodog closed at 02/02 21:34 5½ +100 / 5½ -120, for example, along with Bookmaker, I think.

These teams play a lot of low-scoring games, and their two games this season have both gone under 5.5. Both teams using their starting goalies (Howard and Nabokov).

I was expecting a 5.5 under -140 or even a 5 (over -145 or something).

In his career against the Wings Nabokov is 7-17-0-2. He has a gaa of 3.59, his worst against any club in the nhl. Also has only a .884 save percentage against Detroit and has allowed 95 goals in 28 career starts. These two teams have played quite a few overs in recent years combined with the horrible numbers nabokov has put up against the wings which is why I think the under wasn't priced lower then -120. Most likely alot of sharp money coming in on the over. Also putting up a 5 would have been way out of line for the books. These two teams hook up again next thursday in detroit.
