Dump the puck out and sit there and wait for Edmonton to charge. And Edmonton did. Not only winning that game, but doing so in a demoralizing fashion. Taking the momentum and winning the series.
Now you have St. Louis winning by 2 goals with 2 minutes left in the game going into the dreaded ''defensive dump the puck'' mentality. Therefore enabling a talented Winnipeg team to skate for a tie and then a win in O.T... "
