One of the Thrashers’ biggest problems this year has been inconsistent play on their home ice.Atlanta is only 11-9-4 on their own ice, and that’s something that won’t work for a team with playoff aspirations.They’re not in particularly good form at the moment, having won only 4 of their last 13 games overall.
The Ducks, meanwhile, have been playing better hockey of late winning 8 of their last 10 games.They don’t have a great YTD record away from the Honda Center, but during their recent run have impressive road victories at Nashville and Chicago. We’ll look for the respective form of the teams to continue here and expect the Ducks to get the win.They’ve dominated the head to head series, winning 7 of the last 11 meetings including four of the last five in the Thrashers’ building. Right now, they’re simply the better of these two teams and i'm getting them at a decent price.
