100% disagree. A line doesn't have to have a + sign in front of it to hold value. Extreme example. If you could get the Colts at home vs the Lions at -220 would you say I have a problem for laying the -220? I hope you wouldn't

Hawks are 9-2 as -200+ favorites this year. They win when they are expected to win. And now they get what is the worst team in the game right now who are 1-17 in their last 18 games. Since the Hawks became one of the best teams in the league they have beat the Oilers 5 out of 6 over the last 2 years (all 5 wins came in regulation, their one loss came in a shootout). They are 3-0 in Edmonton the last two years outscoring them 17-5. In my opinion, there is value in -220 tonight.

-220 is NO value especially with a hawks team who is in first and sitting on a comfortable lead in the west...against a oilers team who needs these points, hawks always seem to choke in these type of situations...

They are in 1st in the Central but not 1st in the Conference. Oilers are dead last in the NHL. Their season is done. Hawks have more to play for and I just showed you they are 9-2 as -200+ favorites. I don't see how you can say they always choke in these situations.
