    Betting Trends: Friend or Foe
Sometimes I wonder if these betting trends are here to trick us or help us.

    Take for instance:

TeamA has beat TeamB 8 out of the last 10 matches. I find this irrelevant sometimes if say if they haven't played in a year, etc.

Am I wrong to think that a team is sometimes an under dog soley because the general public follows these trends, pushing the line the "wrong" way?

Trends can be deceiving sometimes..When factoring in equations like you listed above, one must account for current roster changes, injuries, locations. But hell what do I know

when i win from looking at trends i love them: till they let me down in which case i swear they are put there to trick me up......
current trends are what im looking at mostly.

one must account for current roster changes, injuries, locations.
ahhh yes, the 'x factor'(s). days rest and goalie changes figure into my madness, er uh, method....
