Hi Guys

Ive been betting properley on the NHL for the last 3 weeks now and ive been doing ok, turned £30 into £250 so i thought id put my Tips up on the boards and see what your thoughts are.

I would appreciate your input on them and dont hold back!

Right guys my first proper post here, and we have 4 games going on today (jan 11th) and it seems to me like they wont be the easiest selections.

1 - Nashville @ Vancouver - To me this game could be a close one with both teams playing reletivley well but Vancouver look like the most likely team to win this being 7-2 in the last 9 games. im more confident on the Cannucks winning this outright than against the spread.

OUTCOME - Vancouver outright @ 1.53 (stake £25)

2 - San Jose @ LA - For some reason i really like the Sharks -1.5 here.

OUTCOME - San Jose -1.5 @ 3.00 (stake £25)

3 - Colorado @ Calgary - To me this is one to stay away from, Calgary have been up and down recently and so have colorado, i think this will be a low scoring game.

OUTCOME - Under 5.5 goals @ 1.67 (stake £25)

3 - Pitsburgh @ Minnesota - For me this one will be a high scoring game, something like 5-3 and for that the over looks good.

OUTCOME - Over 5.5 goals @ 1.91 (stake £25)

Right guys, here goes my picks for 12th Jan.

Tonight we have a nice selection of games and ive picked a few that i like the look of:

1 - Nashville @ Edmondon - coming off a nice win against the Cannucks, Nashville should be up for this game against what could be seen as the worst team in the nhl right now.

OUTCOME - Nashville -1.5 @ 3.45 (£25 stake)

2 - Dallas @ Phily - right now Phily are hitting some form (7-2-1) they are at home and i think they can put up some points against a not so solid dallas defence.

OUTCOME - Phily -1.5 @ 2.80 (£25 stake)

3 - Detroit @ Islanders - Detroit should beat the islanders even away form home.

OUTRIGHT - detroit @ 1.67 (£25 stake)


I have one little accumulator for tonight and it is as follows:

Nashville -1.5
Washington -1.5
Phily -1.5
Atlanta -1.5

£5 stake @ 74/1 and i think it has a shot at hitting!

No value in Philly, the money line price is horrendous, i was leaning towards the under in the Philly game actually. Dallas just aren't scoring atm.

Detroit haven't done enough on the road to justify those odds for me, but the under once again looks good to me

I'm disagree with you :
1) Oilers playing at home might be winning by shoutout. I would rather be with them and Under more
2) Are you sure that the Stars mightn't win? Most bettings are on Philly ..so I will be happy to try Stars tie or win
3) Agree on Detroit...but I pass the game in order the odd.

I' d like to propose to ypu all 2 ties : Toronto and Tampa - what about?

The stars have no offense, that s why i like the under. Maybe a 3-1 type game, problem is there really is no value in philly but they do have dallas on a good spot - tough one

yeah thank you very much washington, nice way to screw up! Ive lost more than usual over the last few days, seems like there are more shock results than ever! Im sure it would have hit, Nash are 4-0 up in 2nd! thank god i decided to put another £25 on nash -1.5 @3.45. if it holds up then it will help a tiny bit to the pain ive had over the past few days!

good call on Tampa Jazzo, im a bit annoyed with Wash though! I played detroit too, biiiig mistake but il be on them again, they will let loose v soon! With regards to Philly, i cant say i was !00% they would win but i was confident and it paid off. Now i need Nashville to win-1.5 to recover some losses!

2 - Anaheim -1.5 OVER Boston @ 3.25 - £25 stake
3 - Washington @ Florida OVER 6 GOALS @ 1.87 - £25 stake

Big stake on Minny, i like it. I think it is fair value, and what makes it better is the 62/38 split of the public on the Canucks.

Calgary look the best bet for me, The pens are in shocking form and Calgary are coming off a home loss.

My thinking on Wash, with the total at 6 is that if it is a high scorer, there is no way florida keep up, so Wash -1.5 looks good

I might add Minny as another single, so that 2-1 would make a winning night. Half unit (£25) on all 3 maybe

bet365 have better odds than stanjames who i use who are 4/5 on calgary, im still not sure whether to hit on calgary tho, it is tempting but you never know when the penguins will come out and score goals for fun! ive bet washington game goals over 6 and with that im with you that if that happens then florida wont keep up. Ive bet wash -1.5 tonight and its their chance to get me my money back from last night lol

guys i currently use Stan James as my online bookmeker but i was wondering who you lot use? and who do you reckon is the best?

I ask as im looking to use another bookmaker for my nhl bets, as i dont reckon im getting the best odds.
