Bruins @ Rangers Game

Tonight the Bruins (21-12-2-5) are in New York to face to Rangers (19-17-4-1)

The bruins are coming together and have been playing a solid game of hockey as of late. Winners of 4 of the last 5 with 2 wins against Atlanta, a win vs Phili, and a win against Florida.

The bruins havn't had the best of luck vs the Rangers, going 5-12 in the last 17 meetings with them. The Bruins though, and showing much more spark than the Rangers have as of late.

It seems that New York is caught in a constant struggle and can't string a few wins together to get them out of the slump. The have lost 3 of their last 5 games, and the 2 wins they did get came against the lowly Hurricanes(2-1), and the Florida Pathers (4-1).

The total in prior meetings between these 2 teams has gone under the total in 7 of the last 10 games, and has gone under in 4 of the last 5 meetings in New York.

Statistics show that the Rangers have had the upper hand on the Bruins as BOS are 5-12 in the last 17 meetings, and 0-4 in the last 4 in New York.
But will this continue tonight?

I look for boston to notch another win against the struggling Rangers, but I like the total under 5.5 goals more.

Under is a good play tonight, but I think the Rangers pull off a win here today... big letdown for the Briuns today, plus a team as good as the Rangers just has to win a game at home... they will come out pretty hard today...

i don't think the struggling rangers could pull of a win against improving Bruins team....!
Boston is a way better team than the rangers..
I like ranger's goalie..Lundquist! but this guy is not consistent (he could keep this game under) but i don't see rangers scoring more than 1 goal..so i would like to go with the bruins and may be under!

I'm on Boston,San Jose and the under in BOTH games. Kings to come back out and struggle again imho. San Jose is improving just like Boston.

I like the Rangers to pull it off today, as well as the Sharks, and I like the under in both games. Didn't play any of them alone, but threw them all into a parlay.

Peterpan I don't think they are gonna outright roll over the Rangers in this game. The Rangers are really in a bit of a struggle and I just don't see them getting many goals against Boston tonight. Although, it is the perfect spot for them to make a come back, considering their record against Boston.

I like the under play more, but leaning towards the Bruins to get the win.

After tonight the Rangers play Dallas, at Atlanta, then at Boston, and then New Jersey, so they are gonna want to come out in this one tonight to start getting things on the right track, if they show up that is.

I wouldn't be surprised if the game went past regulation.

today are confirmed the Finnish Tuukka Rask (Bruins) and Swedish Henrik Lundqvist of the Rangers side. Although be backup goalie i think that Rask (1.85 GAA in 16 games) is a little better than Thomas (2.36 GAA in 26 matches)...

Keep in mind Thomas played the last 2 matchups against the Rangers. Both 1-0 games. One win for each team.

Rask also had a shutout in his last meeting with the Rangers as well, winning 1-0.

i think the rangers game will be a coin flip. sometimes the rangers come out strong and there is no beating them and then the next game they will suck and get blown out by the Islanders or another weak team. You never know which rangers you will get.
the books have this one correct at -110 each. they will be the only ones making money. if you are feeling lucky, flip the coin. LOL

the under seems like a sensible choice in this one. I dont play totals though

Unbelievable finish I almost died from stress 2-0 with 5 mins to go in the 3rd, then 3 quick goals and an empty net looming for the Rangers. Luckily the under hit in the end.

Bruins were all over them in the 3rd, thought they were gonna make a come back to win.

I thought for sure it was gonna end over the total with the pace of the game near the end.

Under came through though

Bruins lost a tough one.
