Today i'll start to test a new system i've made up. I won't go into too deep of details because I haven't backtested and I wouldn't recommend betting with me until I prove if it even works.
The basic concept is that i'll be keeping track of teams wins by 2 and losses by 2. For wins and losses i'll look at overall, at home and away games. I'll also cap each game as I normally would and if at the end of the day I don't like any bets there will be no play. For now i'll only go on 2 game chases and if the system proves to be successful i'll go onto 3. I know this is more of a instinct bet than a system bet but I felt like classifying it as a system lol.
For today the bet will be on Detroit -1.5 (+150) as they host Tampa Bay.
-The puckline odds are from Diamond Sportsbook.
-Tampa Bay has lost 10 games by 2 or more on the road.
-Detroit has won 5 games by 2 or more at home.
I was torn between this game and Calgary hosting Los Angeles. Calgary has won 6 at home by 2 or more while Los Angeles has lost 7 away from home by more than 2. I would rather bet against Tampa Bay than Los Angeles because the Kings are a better team though.
I'll be waiting til later this morning or this afternoon to place my bet for Detroit because I think the odds will move in my favor.
