I select my plays by using a couple of systems. (I will play the JM games that some have posted, but will also play some other games outside the JM system.) For some games I play the puck line (+1.5) and for some games the money line. NOTE: I like to use the Martingale system. If we don't win, then we'll do a Play 2 and a Play 3 if necessary. Under this system, and by playing the puck line on some games, things can get expensive in a hurry. Be mindful of your bankroll. This is just the way I like to play the games. My picks are posted on my spreadsheet so I can track my record (both wins/losses and $).

hey Gonzo,

you seem to have the NHL betting figured out really well. I am really new to NHL betting, I was wondering where you place the PL bets. I usually use sportsbook or Bodog but i cant find that option over there. I primarily bet on basketball and dont really understand the PL concenpt but it seems like its been treating you really well.
could you please explain or suggest a US friendly sportsbook that handles these types of bets. I would really appreciate it. thanks

Bodog sucks they offer no puckline. But if you go to NHL lines at Sportsbook the puck line is just to the right of the moneyline. All it says above it is line.

Oh ok. so thats is what PL refers to. I feel like such a dumbass, lol. i guess the same thing as ATS in basketball. thanks for clarification.

a lot of respect for the poster's record but i dont know about TB today. I really have a feeling that they will get blown out. TB really sucks lately, Chicago is a hundred times better, especially at home. I know they have kept the last 5 games close but against better teams. they are also 12-3-1 at home.

hawks are ready to light it up any game now. inconsistent nittymaki in goal for bolts. chitown hits team total of 3..might be all they get, but i doubt it.

Gonz has an interesting combination of systems all rolled into one. I don't understand all of it nor do I need to all I know is it works. Like I said once before his spreadsheet says it all..

Good evening gentlemen - appreciate all the love on the thread...lol. Let's hope that we can stay consistent throughout the year even if we have a bad night from time to time.

SKA - Scrub is right that Bodog is no good for NHL if you play the puck line (PL). Matchbook, Bookmaker and others are better books for this purpose - you should read some of the reviews on SBR about the various sportsbooks b/f deciding on one or the other.

Scrub - I believe that TB lost by only one goal on Friday to Colorado, winning their A play on the puck line, so today's game is technically not the B play. I've not had time today to read some of the other threads to see what others are saying, but I believe that it should not be a B play under JM. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Prodigy and XB and Scrub - that's some funny stuff...much appreciated.

Winnipeg - agree that the 'hawks are due for a big one. I'm thinking TB lost a tough one on Friday and should play hard today. Not saying TB will win, but should keep it close with a chance at the end. Good luck.

Boys, don't know if TB has what it takes to get within 1. They've had enough shots, just not going in (part of it is b/c the shots are too far out). I hate it for me of course, but I hate it for you guys as well. We'll get them tomorrow...

It's ok Gonz you see that is the good thing about tailing, you can chose not to follow with the play........................ in tonight's case I had zero faith in TB and all the faith in the Hawks so I went with my gut and put a small 10 bet on the ML for the hawks. I obviously won. But like I am trying to say no worries!!!!!!
