    Plus Money Picks December 10
Not too bad last night 3-1 and plus 2.69 units, week to date 5-3 and plus 3.44 units. Last night's "draw" wager was graded @ +314, sorry for not posting the price in the thread.
Thanks to poster Peterpan19 for the updated information on Colorado goalie Peter Budaj. It seems my search engine spit out stats for Craig Andersen or perhaps I keyed it in wrong. Nonetheless the play worked out but any coments or better info is always appreciated.

    Today's picks.

Pittsburgh Penguins team total 3 (+100) Pinny

The Canadiens defense is pretty banged up with Markov still out, Paul Mara out and Jaroslav Spacek on the limp. The Canadiens gave out more than 45 shots last game to Ottawa, even close to that number for the Pens snipers is not going to work out that well. Carey Price has been sharp but I think the vig is pretty low here. If the Pens can only muster 2 goals I lose. Seems like a bit of a stretch. Would anyone lay money that the Pens only get 2 tonight. They have managed less than 3 only once in the last 5 against Carey Price. Always the chance that an empty netter, OT goal or shootout win gets me at least a push. And for plus money I'll take the risk.

    1 unit play.

Ottawa @ Philadelpia (+106) ML regulation

The Sens are 1-4 last 5 in Philly none having gone to OT and including a 2 goal win and two blowouts. Ottawa seem to be in a funk right now; their two top snipers Kovalev and Spezza can't score and in interviews seem to lack a bit of fire and desire. I think Ottawa really miss Chris Neil. He is a heart and soul guy and a sparkplug for that team. His presence is really missed on the road.
Ottawa recently returned from a long west coast road trip, played one game at home and now are back out on the road for a game. I think they are still going to be a bit leg weary, especially at this time of year.
Talk in Ottawa is that the team does not exactly have confidence in their second string netminder Elliot who is fighting it a bit right now.
Philly impressed me a bit with that latest effort against the Islanders with a strong effort and 3 power play goals. I think the crack the whip attitude of new coach Laviollette may have caught the attention of the Flyers. I look for them to real off a few wins under the new leadership.

    1 unit play,

Any comments are certainly welcome and good luck again tonight puckers!!
