I bet NHL myself,but not as successfull as you,but i made a small profit too. Who do you think is gonna win Stanley Cup this year? The Pens and Devils have pretty good shots at the cup I'd say. I like the Caps and Devils in the east and the Canucks and Hawks in the west this year. I do have an MLB thread with the same name as this one. DG's Daily Picks. Take care.

NYR (+105) vs BUF Pinnacle $100 to win $105
The Rangers need the two points badly and have been on a roll winning 5 of their last 6 games and BUF has pretty much locked up the #3 seed unless they lose their remaining games and the Sens win all of their games. The Rangers have beat BUF at home once this year and BUF will be without two of their top forwards in Connolly and Vanek.
WAS vs PIT Over 1.5 (1st) (-142) Pinnacle $284 to win $200
Well back to the well with 1st period overs. These teams typically play in high scoring games as the over is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings and 7-1 in the last 8 in Pittsburgh. The Caps are 1st in 1st period goals scored and the Pens come in at 4th. Again I like the value of needing only 2 goals to win this bet as opposed to the 6.5 total tonight. Both teams should come out hungry and ready to make a statement as these top Eastern contenders square off for bragging rights.

Really NYR, they must win if they want to keep the pressure on the 3 trailing playoffs place. In the same idea, I would say MTL also as a winner.

Gotta love those 1st period sucker bets. 1-0 through 1, and now 4-2 through 2 I don't know how I still manage to bet the 1st period and not just the game totals. Definitely a lesson to learn for me for next year.
