LOL I was thinking about it but liked the look of the game better. Decided to pass on both and see how they did without Ovie for a whole game. Plus I was scared in case Vokoun had a hot game. Business as usual even without him it appears

Nothing on it yet. I'm waiting to see how the early games turn out first. Canucks PL should be a good bet but this could be a letdown spot against a lowly Isles team.

I am usually on most Caps 1st period overs and games as well. Line was 6 too, haven't seen it that low in awhile and was low juice on the 1st period over. FML.

Can't resist this one. I hate to bet on my favorite team but I have to take a shot on this one or I'll regret it. The Canucks are one of the best home teams in the league and the Isles are one of the worst road teams. The Canucks have won 7 straight at home and the Islanders have lost 8 straight on the road. Hopefully the Canucks come out and don't have a letdown game in this one.

i stayed away from this one as well as the (van) 1st period -.5 (even) wager because you eluded to the let down angle. that tip from a fan says a lot. well, you cant say you honestly didnt see this coming, sorta, kinda....the lame calls dont help though.

Give it time. They're not the second best offensive team in hockey for nothing. Remember the game in Denver about a week ago, they gave up three first period goals before coming back to win 6-4.

Hard not to like the Avs tonight at this low juice. The Avs have won all 4 meetings against the Flames this season and the Flames are just 2-9 in the last 11 games in Colorado. Add to the fact that Kipper won't be in net for the Flames and Anderson vs Toskala looks like another edge for the Avs.

PIT vs NJ Under 5.5 (-135) Pinnacle $135 to win $100
All 5 meetings have gone under this season and I like for this trend to continue tonight in Soprano land. 8 of the last 10 meetings have gone under and with Brodeur and Fleury in net both should be solid for their respective teams tonight. The under is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings in NJ as well.

PIT vs NJ (-1.5) (+223) Pinnacle $50 to win $111.50
Hard not to take a shot at this one tonight as the Devils are 5-0 vs the Pens this year with each victory coming by 2 goals or more. The Devils have had the Pens number this season and think there's a good chance that it continues again tonight.

CHI vs ANA (+125) Pinnacle $100 to win $125
The Ducks still have an outside shot at the playoffs but they must go on a big run and now. They started off well by knocking off the Sharks at home and have another tough test in the Hawks. The Ducks have won 2 of 3 meetings this season and have good value at home tonight. The Hawks will start rookie goalie Corey Crawford who has only played a few NHL games over the years so the Ducks should have an edge in goal.

I'm big on Colorado. I like the Devils, but I feel like Pittsburgh's too good to get swept this season. Calgary, on the other hand, is not. As a Devils fan, I hope they pull it off, but I typically don't like to bet on my favorite teams.

I hate to say it but I got a good feeling Calgary is going to win tonight. I don't have any money on them but for everything that points towards them losing and Colorado winning why are both teams near ev?? It smells like something fishy is in the air and my gut tells me this game will lead to the unexpected no one thinks possible.
