The Oilers have been ravaged by injuries as forwards Marc Pouliot (sports hernia surgery), Ryan Stone (knee), Shawn Horcoff (shoulder), Ales Hemsky (shoulder) and J.F. Jacques (shoulder) remain out and defensemen Sheldon Souray (concussion) and Ladislav Smid (flu) are on the mend

after reading this im leaning for ottawa to take this game?
maybe even by 2 or more

Tough to pick a winner in this one. Edmonton is playing like crap on the road losing 4 of last 5 Ottawa has just been playing like crap in general losing 5 of last 7. Stick with the totals in this game.

Ottawa/ Edmonton 5.5 Un -110
-Ottawa's last three games home games have gone under the total.
-Ottawa has only scored 8 goals in their last four games
-Edmonton has only scored 6 goals in their last three road games
-Hemsky is doubtful to play
-In Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers one game this year (albeit vs the lowly Preds) stopped 40 of 41 shots
