Penguins vs. Bruins
At first I loved this line, I figured there was a lot of value behind Pittsburgh here. But after more research, it looks like the Bruins are the bet tonight. The bookies are dogging the Pens since they've dropped two straight on the road. This is the first time they've lost back to back games this season. Both teams here are banged up a bit, Malkin, Talbot, and Gonchar have been key injuries for Pittsburgh. They are missing 2/3's of their powerplay and it's been virtually nonexistent at 14%, however it's better than the Bruins who show only 13% on the PP. The Bruins are missing some big parts as well in Savard and Lucic, however Krejci their second leading scorer behind Savard, looks to start tonight after having swine flu. Pittsburgh is 8-2 in its last 10 games on the road, however the Bruins have stumped them. Pittsburgh is 7-18 in its last 25 games when playing on the road against Boston. Pittsburgh is 6-13 in its last 19 games when playing Boston. Boston is 17-8 in its last 25 games at home. I would go into stats about how the teams rank up to each other, however with all the injuries, I don't think the stats will do this game justice. Thomas and Fluery start in net, both have been solid for their teams. I don't see the goalie's making the game here, I expect them both to show up and give up a goal or two. With all the injuries and the past history with these two teams, I like Boston tonight, as well as the UNDER. The total has gone UNDER in 5 of Boston's last 6 game. The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Boston's last 5 games at home. Pittsburgh has only scored 2 goals in their last 2 games. Boston has scored 3 goals in their last 4. I see the under hitting hard here as both teams have offensive powers out. Good Luck.
Pitts/Boston UNDER 5.5 -130@5dimes (large)
Boston -135 @5dimes (medium)
