Los Angeles vs. Chicago Blackhawks
I was going to say the Kings have some value tonight, but with the announcement of Erik Ersberg starting for LA, the Hawks are the best bet. Ersberg has only played one game and has a GAA of 4.15 and a SV% of .810. Chicago will get to him at home tonight. They are 6-2 in their last 8 games at home. Also, they might get their captain Jonathan Toews back from injury, which could be the boost they need after coming off of a pair of road losses. They might not be playing that well on the road, but in Chicago, the Blackhawks are money. Chicago has gone 5-2 in their last 7 games when they play the Kings at home. The Kings have struggled on the road, going 8-17 on the road in the their last 25 games. Kings overall offense meets Chicago's overall defense as they are both ranked 6th in the NHL. LA's PP has struggled on the road, as they are ranked 16th in road PP, the Hawks counter it well with a 6th ranked home PK. The Kings are not going to get PP goals in Chicago tonight. This looks to be a defensive struggle, both teams allow some of the fewest shots in the league. The total has gone UNDER in 6 of Chicago's last 7 games. The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Chicago's last 5 games at home. The total has gone UNDER in 7 of Chicago's last 9 games when playing at home against Los Angeles. The total has gone UNDER in 15 of Los Angeles's last 20 games on the road. I just don't see the Kings scoring tonight. With Ersberg starting, it seems Chicago has a nice edge in this game. Big bet on the Hawks, medium bet on the under.
Chicago -150@bodog (large)
LA/CHI UNDER 5.5 -110@bodog (medium)
