To the best of my knokledge, none so far. The only C bet game that lost is registered as a series end loss.
the reason to have a D bet is that no points have been bought in these two series.

No (D) games so far. 3 point buy series is 3 games max only. Series with no points buy can go as many as 6 games, but in these series i will reduce my unit amount.

I have a question about tonights plays though. In post#169 we had 4 (B) plays one of those was Portland -4 vs Golden State. That bet won (105-89) so why do we have a (C) bet on Portland tonight? The 2 (B) bets that didn't cover on 1/2/10 were Memphis under 227(that's one of tonights C bets) and Phoenix -7.5.
I would have assumed that we would have a C bet tonight on Phoenix and not Portland.
Where am I going wrong?

DarkTommy. Stayed late watching Blazers game, so I will post my opinion.

I believe the series is AGAINST Memphis and Under. On Saturday Memphis defeated Suns, moving the series into a C Bet. On the other game, portland win a B play, finishing that series.

On Tuesday both C bets moved the series into a D bet.
Tomorrow's game is Memphis @ Jazz. Tomorrow's plays should be Jazz and Under, but lines are not available yet.

Series with no points buy can go as many as 6 games

Assuming no point buys @ -110 per game, you have to win 87 out of 88 (6 game series) just to break even.

Assuming 3 point buys @ -180 per game, you have to win 19 out of 20 (3 game series) to break even.

There are 2 sure fire ways to go broke gambling:
1. Buying multiple points and laying -180 all the time
2. Increasing your bet size with each loss

This system contains both.

In order to justify a huge increase in bet size, there needs to be a higher +EV to go along with it. Is there any logical reason why C and D bets have higher +EV than the A and B bets?

If this system does indeed work, then I think the profits would be higher in the long run betting the same bet size WITHOUT buying the points.

I got the opening line of 6.5 and and bought to 9.5. I cashed this series. If you continue to play this series, I would (A) game money and (B) game money on game three if necessary. Good luck with what you do.
