Damn Stars..I stayed up for the whole game too

As soon as I finally shut it down they scored I kept going back to check but the score remained the same where the amount of OT's kept changing.

I wonder if tonight will reverse and have low scoring games.

I watched the entire game as well. Had the Canucks and got lucky, I will be playing Dallas next time.

I like the Sabres in game one because:

Excitement in Buffalo is huge, the fans will help motivate the Sabres. (Not that they need to be motivated)

Goaltending: Buffalo is clearly superior with Miller.

The Sabres are healthy with most of their regulars back.

Speed, the Sabres can skate circles around the Islanders, I can see NY getting into penalty trouble because of Buffalo's speed. It is hard to win if you're consistently shorthanded.
The Isles need to stay out of the penalty box to have any chance in this one.

On paper this game definitely favours Buffalo. I avoided the temptation to play other games tonight and will stick to a big play on Buffalo with the puck line at -1.5 -115.

betplom I also wanted to take buffalo but could only get a 2 puckline history shows they have a tendency to win by multiple goals at home but at 1.5 I would have had a better shot to cover than push naturally. good luck with the play. Duby will have his hands full tonight I wonder how he will perform. What does he have 8 games in the regular season now bam gettin tossed into the playoffs vs the president trophy winners.
