Are overtimes and shootouts in hockey similar to baseball in that it becomes close to a coinflip? IE my NYI bet tonight was a great bet, just landed on the other side of the coin?

Anyone have the numbers for this?

thats exactly what happened...but canadiens are the better team but if you play the odds i guess the islanders would be the choice to bet
