What do you guys think of it? I found covers.com/articles/articles.aspx?theArt=173888 where the guy points out the ridiculous # of one goal games this year. Do you guys play +/- 1.5? I think i'm going to start betting teams +1.5.

I agree laying the 1.5 is a bad idea but I do get greedy sometimes. The problem with getting 1.5 is that you got to pay so much juice a few bad breaks and your bank roll is gone. I stick with mostly totals and I have been doing quite well so far. Of course the good call is not to gamble at all because the odds are stack against us long term but where's the fun in that?

yeah the juice is annoying. Maybe parlaying them?

have you been playing a lot of overs? The article talks about a lot of games going over b/c of early penalty call.

Always have to be concerned about being down by 1 in the last minute and allowing an empty net goal. Ive gotten covers on the -1.5 this way, and been burned on the +1.5 this way. That being said, it might be worthwhile to play +1.5 on solid defensive teams.

Yes early in the year I always bet overs perdominantly. Lots of borderline calls that lead to power play goals in the first month of the season that die out eventually. The referees start that season calling everything with pressure from the league.
