The NHL is proving over and over again that it is run by idiots.

The NHL is just really afraid to compete against the NFL on Sunday and Monday I guess. With MLB having no games today though, it would have been a good opportunity to give fans more of an alternative to the football game. Atleast 4 games today to involve more markets would have been ok. If the football game is a blowout there will only be 1 hockey game on at a time and a missed opportunity.

That is exactly what it is, they avoid the NFL. Plus, the Tigers/Twins tie breaker had to be pushed to Tuesday because the NFL game today. Because they need to play at Minnesota.

yes, unless they wanted to play at 11 AM.
But I'm not sure what Tigers/Twins has to do with the NHL not scheduling anything for Monday.
There should have been more games scheduled.
Plus, they can't hide from the NFL.

Just stating it would of been played today, if there wasn't a NFL gaming being played at the Metrodome.

doesn't that involve only four teams? The two Friday afternoon games?
Give those four teams Saturday and Sunday off, and then begin again on Monday. Seems about right to me.

The NHL should want to go up against MLB, all day, everyday. A lot of people find MLB boring, and need something easy to follow and violent to pass time between Sundays. NHL is the answer.

I think the question to ask is this: LT is 1-4 in five games. Is it worth fading him at this point?
