I have a Pittsburgh Penguins C bet on Monday 23rd Nov if needed. Apart from that I have nothing until Wednesday 25th Nov. Do you guys agree?

Today I could only get Pittsburgh as very slight favourites (-107). Did anyone manage to get the puckline?

I agree about Pittsburgh, but hopefully we will not need the C bet. Don't forget about Buf today.

I got Pitt -115 so no puckline. Hope they don't need it.

OK so tomorrow (Wed 25th Nov) we have a Buffalo Sabres B bet and series starting for Chicago Blackhawks and New York Rangers.

Chicago Blackhawks have an away record of 5-3-1 so I'll be on them.
New York Rangers have an away record of 5-5-1. Er? What do you think? I'm thinking its best to play safe and skip.

I agree completely. I will also pass on NYR. There are a lot of plays right now (especially if you are doing the NBA system also).

This might be a really stupid question, but does the fact the Blackhawks are on a six game roadtrip make a difference? We won on the first three game series, can we say game 4,5 and 6 are another series?

Well, I really messed up last night. I checked McBains rules and there is a filter to exclude games 4,5 and 6 of a six game roadtrip. So I didn't bet on the Blackhawks and of course they win by a mile (well done to all those who won). I did place my B bet on Buffalo Sabres and lose.

Now I'm sweating about a Buffalo Sabres C bet on Friday 27th Nov.

Also on Friday 27th Nov I have Calgary Flames with an away record of 7-1-3, so I'll be on them as an A bet.

I have nothing for tonight (Thursday 26th Nov).

Do people agree?

Hello all, just finished reading a ton of threads: Mcbain's post, El Capitan's post about JM's NHL picks, and Kong's thread over on Covers.com which is using mcbain's system and a labourchere betting system. After a day of reading I have come up with the following ideas and insights:

1) mcbain and cheme get easily annoyed by stupid questions that are already answered in previous posts.
2) the picks are all on a spreadsheet in mcbains initial post outlining the system in post #32 by floridagolfer.
3) if you don't have a shit-ton of guts, a chase system is not for you. You WILL have a C bet and it is gonna be big, be prepared, be a man and suck it up. If you can't lose it, don't play.

Mcbain, I have a question if you have a moment. I am interested in the A plays. Do you have a record of A plays? If so, and if it is a decent win rate, why not, instead of using a chase system use the A games for all bets? If you lose an A game bet, your next bet is on the next A game instead of a B game of the losing team?

Tonight (30th Nov) we have COL Avalanche and STL Blues starting road trips.

Colorado Avalanche have a road record of 7-6-3 so I guess thats a play.

St Louis Blues have a road record of 5-1-3 so I guess thats a play too.

Tomorrow (1st Dec) we have TOR Maple Leafs starting a road trip. They have a road record of 4-5-4 so I'll miss them.

Do people agree? Have I arsed up again?
