I will be posting all my NHL plays for this upcoming season in this thread and keeping a record. I'll be using the base betting format and all plays will be for 1 unit, so a +120 line will be 1 unit risked to win 1.2 and a -120 line will be 1.2 units risked to win 1.

I've capped the NHL for years but never kept track of units, which is why I'm doing this thread. Keeping track of it in a base betting format will give a very accurate picture of units. My actual bet size will vary greatly depending on bankroll, but the purpose of this thread is to see how good my picks are 1 unit at a time.

Well, so far I've selected 3 favs and 3 favs have lost. After watching St Louis score 3 goals in the last 5 minutes of the second period against Detroit, I picked up my jaw off the floor and decided to make a play on Philadelphia. I made the play for regulation time only because I figure if it ends up going to a shootout Carolina has the advantage in goal.

I liked the Kings pick. I had them myself. I'm a B's fan, but Ive been following what they are doing out there in LA and I like it alot. They are really underrated, and I think they could be in contention for an 8th playoff seed this year. I thought they would come out strong against the Coyotes at home but it just didn't happen. Hopefully they will rebound next game.

Damn dude, maybe go with some upsets or maybe try a couple totals. If you've been betting hockey for a while, then You'll be able to 'Feel' bet at total or two.

I like the teams you bet, maybe off a few days and today's rest those teams will be ready to crush.
