Back the Nashville Predators at home this evening when the Detroit Red Wings come in for a little action on the ice.

The home team in this Detroit vs Nashville series has been money in the bank this season. The Red Wings delivered the cash to their backers in a 3-0 shut out win on Nov. 11, and then failed in the rematch against the revenge minded Predators, 6-2, as visitors a few weeks later. Motown then came back and held serve with a 5-3 Jan. 17 win on home ice at Joe Louis.

With the Predators now back in the country music capital and ready to surge toward a Stanley Cup run with former Flyers super star Peter Forsberg in the lineup, another win for the host in this Central division rivalry looks eminent. Final Notes & Trends: Nashville is 22-5-3 at home this season.

Not a price Id like to lay against the Wings. Wings would be my play if I had to bet this game.

Was leaning towards the Wings but it looks like Osgood will get the start and the Preds have been tough at home. Either way the juice is too rich for my blood to take the Preds and giving a goal and a half to the Red Wings is very, very dangerous.
