It means if they are tied you lose instead of a push. Also for a whole game, it means in regulation. So if the game goes to overtime and the team you took (3way) wins you still lose. It gives you higher odds but eliminates a push

Yeah for game of course. I've seen many games go from 1P 0:1 to 5:2 or so.
