Looking at Chicago ml @+100. Toronto is strong but the line is bad. Maybe Toronto goals over 3.5 @-110. Aint touching vgs-sjs game. Devils line is also Bad.

Lot of games today but hard to find good value. I think winners today are Buffalo, Tampa Bay, Rangers, Toronto, Nashville,St. Louis, Boston, Colorado, Anaheim and Kings.
Problem is lines are mostly crap so trying to find good targets with good line. Here they are:

Islanders did not excite me in their home opener Friday night

Against the Capitals who are tough competition, but only generated 26 shots against a rookie goalie, and only forced 1 powerplay all game which they didn't score

Barzal only took 2 shots. Anders Lee only 1 shot. Brock Nelson stepped up with 5 shots. So they lost by 2-1 score.

Maybe just starting off slowly. But also played Varlamov in net....don't expect much from him.

My comments just about the Islanders. Not about your pick. I had taken them Friday.

I do agree. Not excited about Islanders but got to admit id put my wager in caps 5/5. Neither Islanders or Winnipeg have convinced me but Jets are missing Beaulieu, Little and Byfuglien. And as a team I think Islanders do outrun Jets. They want to win at home.

Every line has dropped already. Made a risky call without knowing starting goalies but more I think my picks, more I feel confident.

Actually most people don't realize the subforums are where Picks are supposed to be posted...a lot of guys now post their picks thread in Players Talk for the attention (good or bad). I've been posting tracking threads since 2017 in the Hockey subforum and very rare to get any reply. Just how it is.

If the goalies are Brossoit and Greiss over 6 could be good play. Brossoit and Greiss are pretty 50-50 skilled imo. First game of the season for Greiss. Lets see what happens.

Islanders stepped up their game! All home wins $$ unfortunately Carolina won in OT so one miss there and the Islanders o5.5 was a bad call also. It was close call tho. Good night overall.

2013 season was awesome here. Had good talks with cotes17 and seeing stars +many others. Hopefully more people will join and we get back to "good old days".

Over 6 was tight but good call! Unfortunately I didn't obviously see this round as clearly as I thought. But this is name of the game.
