Well thats what wagering is about. Isn't it?

Every one rationalizes their picks in their heads.

Everyone thinks the stats speak to them and them alone.

Perhaps you want to count the no of plane-de-icing-caused-delays in road team arrivals (at the venue)...I'm sure some schlep has taken those into consideration to churn out some magical odds !!

My point is that all the stats in the world (no matter how seemingly relevant or irrelevant they look on paper) can determine the outcome all by themselves.

Its usually a cluster of things.
