I think we are stating the obvious.

The Wings regulars that are out, Datsyuk and Draper, weren't playing that well.

Datsyuk was playing like a third line center, and Draper isn't any good. The Wings young guys are having more impact than he could have.

It's rare to have all your regulars healthy. The Red Wings are a very old team, and they're only really missing two regulars: Datysuk and Draper.

As for Osgood, he's been amazingly fortunate in the first two games. A number of times he was beaten or lost sight of the puck and it didn't go in.

I don't get your point. Yes, they're up two games to none, but they aren't beset with injuries like your post made it out to be.

I think this was pretty obvious last night, Draper was a non factor.
