Wednesday NHL Pick - With Reasoning!
    Hello All,

Short slate tonight, but I think there might be a gem of value in there somewhere!

    Last Night:
Florida +145 Win - Wow, the Caps look bad without Holtby.
Arizona +147 Loss - Might be time to fade Domingue. He was pulled early in the 3rd after giving up 5 goals. That rookie of the month crap might have gone to his head.

2015-16 NHL Season Record: 27-31 (all dogs), Avg. Wager +134, 8.35% Return on Total Money at Risk.

    Wednesday:

    Buffalo +131
I can't resist kicking the Montreal dog while its down. After giving up the 3rd period game winner and an empty netter last night to the Flyers and losing yet again, the Habs flew home for this back to back match up. Buffalo is rested and ready, with a short flight there and home again, with a back to back game tomorrow against Boston. Lehner is back and though they've dropped three of the last four with him starting, he has posted a respectable 2.02 GAA and .948 Sv% during that stretch. The Sabres made a huge 15% PP/PK rating jump in January (from a season average that sits above league median and matching that of Montreal) and boasted the 3rd and 5th best PP/PK respectively in that month. They still don't score a lot of goals, but they are pretty fast and disciplined when it counts. Montreal is a mess. They've dropped 6% in their PP/PK season rating in January while losing a bunch of games. In the last 9 games they've scored 16 while giving up 34 goals. It gets worse with Scrivens starting. He is 0-4 this season, all in regulation and by 2 or more goals, with the team losing 17-8 across those 4 games. That's an average of 3.84 against with a bad save % of .833.
The only reason that I hesitate is the 67% of public action backing the Sabres and the reverse line movement indicating big or smart money on Montreal. But then I ask, how can "smart" money be on Montreal at this point? We'll see.

    Good Luck.
