Hello All,
Another close one, with the Sabres holding the lead into the 3rd and giving up two goals, with the go-ahead happening with about 30 seconds left. Still feeling solid about choosing 50/50 games at +money, onward and upward.
My 2015-16 NHL Season Record: 21-23 (all dogs), Average ML odds +133, +11.2% Rate of Return on Total Risk
Thursday's Pick: Chicago +110
Chicago - One of the top three teams in Hockey on a 12 game win streak. Season PP/PK rating of 104.4 that has dipped slightly in January to 102.4, good for top five in Hockey. 4th in scoring and goals allowed, this team is rolling into Tampa like a freight train with all players healthy and Crawford keeping the door closed. At underdog money?
Tampa Bay - Also on a good win streak. PP/PK rating of 98.3 for the season, dipping slightly in January to 97.5. But Wait! January PP% is 9.5? That's 25th in the league. That's almost half of their season average. They gave up 4 goals to Edmonton on Tuesday at home. Bishop has been admittedly awesome, but he only plays goalie.
I'll take Chicago.
Good Luck
