Where are all the goals in NHL this season??

Haven't been paying much attention, but glanced at the goals per game stats for each team and they seem abnormally low. Anyone know why?

The goal tenders are all 6'2" and 250 #'s before the gear, there is no room to get the puck in.

Well not sure about if you were to look at the whole season, they may be in the top 10 teams, but in the past 2-3 weeks they seem to be getting 2-3 goals about every night which is on the low side.
Since I've been following Kings the last 2.5 seasons they are a strong defensive team with very good goaltending and tend to win a lot of 3-2 kinda games.

Too many horseshit overs too, Edm/NYR late empty netter screwjob
Fla gets an empty netter up 4-1 - too many coaches pulling goalies in 4-1 games completely changing the totals landscape and books havent adjusted one bit
