they arent that good, and i understand capitals are folding under pressure....im guessing the books r looking at it as, the caps home crowd was too much for them to handle so maybe they will play better on the road.....but i agree crayzee if anything bet the NYR everything is with them tonight, especially a NY crowd who once died through the season, and is oprolly larger then as it was int he beginning of the season

Washington was better in the regular season and it's a must win for them, so the line makes sense to me.
The simplistic way of looking at it is that the Rangers won the first two on the road so they should be favored at home. It doesn't work like that. Keep in mind that I picked the Rangers in 6, so it's not like I have a lot of faith in the Capitals. I do think they'll win at least one of the next two. I think odds favor Rangers being up 3 games to 1.
It's a no play for me, I think. Fair line.

I haven't added any records to my signature in ages. Check out what I did in xxx's hockey contest.

If you like the Caps tonight, you should just take them at the series price. If they win tonight, they should come back and win the series.

There is one reason the Caps are down 2-0 in this series.
Goaltending.
Lundqvist has been on fire.
Now the Rangers are home where they own the Caps ( 8-1 vs. Washington)

caps r done, lundqvist is the reason why, he is a brick wall....caps couldnt win at home, with a crowd cheering them on and with one of the best players on the team, now on the road with CRAZY NY fans, kinda like Philly fans, caps r done...and for the NYR being underdogs is a SOLID WIN

He has been good no doubt, but the Caps have barely challenged him. All their shots have been long range, and low percentage.

no way, they average like 35 shots a game on him, and ovechkin shoots from the same spot hes been shooting from all yr...caps r getting pushed to the sides defenceivly, and that cuts down the angle for the goaltender to make a easier save, they need to get to the middle of him, he is week in the middle, use NYR defence as a screen, and stop going to the outsides

Ovechkin shines on broadway tonight!
Enough is enough and he takes matters into his own hands and shows us all why he is the most exciting player in the world. Talent wise, Washington is better and they will show everyone how better tonight. They win big tonight and take both games in NY and make it a best 2 out of 3.
As close to a guarantee as I will ever make!

no u said LONG range, its not really long range, long range is fromt he point, but w/e we r on the same page
and dwight, i do expect ovechkin to take matters into his own hands, and to turn the puck over left n right, this is how NYR get into his head to make him wanna take it into his own hands.....think bout it, all caps have who can score is ovechkin, one guy!

people should stop it with the guarantees.
Tonight's game is a toss-up.
Neither ML is worth it. I might take a small shot with Capitals puckline. We'll see.

you picked two guys and your second guy is Sean Avery? Please tell me you're kidding. He has some talent, but he prefers just to be an instigator and try to get the other team in the penalty box.
There are far better players on the Rangers than Avery.

years ago there was a series where rangers were like a number 8 versus flyers at number one
rangers won the first 2 at philly and i went to game 3 at the garden
man- it was so loud in that place you couldnt hear the anthem at all
it was nuts-
the electricity was unreal
rangers blew them out
this had to be roughly between about 85 and 90
to top it off i was a purchasing agent and a salesman i did business with (who was from philly!)got the tickets and took me to the game
that was one fun night!
