Hiller was outstanding. The Sharks dont have enough puck movement on their power play, they had 5 straight PP and could not score. The Ducks do a great job of blocking shots, but some of this is because the Sharks dont move the puck, and will just shoot into traffic.

it seems every year in hockey a #8 always gives a #1 a hard time and at times win the series!

This team is DONE, look at their record over the last month, they peaked WAY too early and they have ZERO confidence. This team will choke again this year.
This actually helps my Canucks out, since we get another home playoff round, Thanks Sharks!

I am all for not over reacting but the Sharks have looked sloppy. The Ducks look like the hungrier team, and Hiller confidence has to be growing. The Sharks played a strong 1st period, but too often in the 3rd they were not crisp with their passes, just throwing the puck away, and stopped moving their feet.

i didnt watch it all, but it sounds like the sharks to me..they choke when it counts, and if the ducks were to win, detroit is going to stomp them...hossa alone will score all over hiller...it sucks but im sure it will happen

This is why hockey is unwatchable and bush league to bet on
No way in any other sport does an 8th seed win this easy and on the road
LOL...hockey I wonder why no one watches in America

Well the Sharks really shouldnt be a #1 team, they played really well in the beginning of the season, thats the only reason they have a good record.
Over the stretch they have looked old and sloppy, plus they are known for choking in the playoffs (where is Marleau and Thornton?)

We have a winner. The books are here to make money. They make money of people pounding favs. They expect the underdog to win and if it does they win. So be on there side.

just like the ducks series who is actually winning there games? o yeh HILLER, just like NYR who is winning there games? LUNDQVIST!
detroit will dominate them both though, enough said, they have WAY too many weapons, hossa, zetterberg, actully thats all that needs to be stated
i expected columbus to come out fighting, but i realized, detroit is just was to dominating, no matter what team or goaltender they face

This makes no sense. How does parity in the league and every team in the playoffs being competitive make hockey unwatchable?
It isn't bush league to bet on. It is bush league to bet huge chalk on a perennial choke artist team in the playoffs against one of the best young playoff teams over the last few years

I took the over 1.5 goals (+1.20) for the first period of game 3. I am hoping San Jose really opens it up and will lead to open chances on both sides. A desperate team motvated not to choke again

I hope you're right. Detroit bought me a couple of British Bulldogs and a trip OS at the end of last season with futures. Hoping the same comes off again this year.
I hedged my bets with SJS a little and am really kicking myself at the moment.

Sorry; to clarify, I meant they WERE young. They have grown together. Guys like Perry, Getzlaf, etc.
They have a good mix of young and old, but you are right average-age wise they are not young.

thornton was out for the first 2 goals against, did anyone see him just gliding around the ice waiting for the puck to go to his stick, the guy dont even try anymore, dont hustle, he expects everything to come to him
