I had every intention on chasing this year because its obvious I can't straight bet to save my a$$. I just might have to revisit that before I get too far in the red. Dont know why I ever stopped....made the most $$$ chasing.

I decided to try a chase system on here this week and stopped after the B bet. Only "luck" I had with it is that the "C" bet which I did not play lost.

I know what you mean....its gonna be a tough transition ( if I do it). But I would be up about 5k if I was chasing my plays. I would have 2 five gamers wrong though.

Some of them are juicey as hell my devils were -150 1st. Tonight and I like to play under 1st a lot but with most being -130/-145 it's not worth in I'm my book anymore

You're right - over the long haul you probably need to win 70% of these to make a profit - and not even that large at that.
I play 2-3 per week and have been hitting about 60%...which means I'm pretty much wasting my time by breaking even with those.

I lost my way with totals (obviously) ever since books went to o/u 5. I love unders, just can't seem to get them down anymore. I'm looking into 1st periods again. I know its high juice, but whatever.

I had under in 1p devils and rangers last night. missed rangers game under.

Thanks man. Nice call on the 1st p under....I had that as a play as well but didn't pull the trigger. Still doing some more research before I jump in on those.

Took the PL cause I can't get the 3 period line and game line was -210. Friggin 10 minute major with a little over 4 to go resulted in a PP goal for the Sen's. Dayam.

Hell - Maybe I take the PL on the dog and pay the juice on the Fave and double my money - Wonder how that would work out with all these 2-1 and 3-2 scores. Think I'll back test my plays and see what the short term trend is.

Well I've been trying something like that the last month in nhl...think I'm doing it wrong though.
Today I have LAK +1.5 @ -330 and then a parlay with Montreal +1 and nfl ML.
I'm thinking Nash-StL might be a good bet for a 1-goal winner for StL?

So how does your chasing system work?
Thinking about this as wins have been hard to come by for us lately.
Tonight my Only Under play was the Only game that went Over.
And tough break in Minny as they lose by 1...played +1 instead of +1.5

I have made small chases with Habs last 3 games which have resulted in a 2 unit loss.
Do I keep chasing them?

Chase betting is not for the faint of heart. Ton of risk involved and you need a 70+ win % just to break even. Got to win a ton of those A bets just to absorb one C loss. Personally just don't have the stomach to lay that kind of juice every night trying to win a unit. Another point is what happens when you jump in to a chase mid season? Who's to say you won't fall in to a deep hole immediately. They look tempting, but every time I've tried it, I've ended up with little to no success compared to all the angst involved. Just my 2 cents.
