Bad start to the year there for hockey. Starting 0-2 down 75.00, I'm gonna put 50 down on flyers 3-way moneyline.

Although I genuinely believe that Florida will surprise people all year and their 7-1 over Philly wasn't a fluke, the Flyers have consistently been a much better home team the last couple years. They held a players only meeting after that loss, gonna look for them to come out much stronger here and find a way to carry play, and follow the lead of the duo of Voracek and Giroux which will get it going tonight.

Canucks are a poor team this year. I believe the Ducks will be able to dominate the matchup game with the Canucks poor depth tonight trying to play in Anaheim against a perennially strong home team. Not gonna overthink this one and take the ducks to roll in reg.

Several Games I like tonight:

Florida Panthers ML:

Florida played a strong game last night and took a tough luck loss in a very tight game. I believe that this is a great odds play at + money vs a weak carolina team. Putting 50 down to return 110.00 (bet365) (60 profit)

Pittsburgh Penguins ML:

Montreal is a team that is somewhat lucky to be at 3-0, even considering they have played 3 teams that will likely miss playoffs. Pittsburgh will not look to start 0-3, and I think one of Crosby or Malkin will finally break through for a couple points tonight.

St. Louis Blues ML:

I like this spot for STL, I believe they will play a very tough checkdown physical game and keep a Calgary team that is getting too much respect from the books here in check. The regression is going to continue for Calgary tonight and I believe they will eat a second home loss from an excellent STL squad.

Penguins/Canadiens Under 5:

Lastly I'm going to go with a half unit on the under in this game. Pittsburgh has had a tough time putting up goals and it shouldn't get any easier on Carey. With that said, I believe they will be very sharp tonight defensively in a big game for them.

Columbus Blue Jacket ML:

I am looking at this play in two ways that I like. Going to chase an Ottawa loss, because I believe if they somehow lose tonight pittsburgh will get them tomorrow. But I believe CLB is still a good play tonight. Team that has a bad start, but I believe tonight they will come out very hard and outplay that realistically they should be ahead of at the end of the season.

I should have warned you about Columbus, it is so tempting to play 0-3 teams in that spot, but trends are so important in the nhl, it isn't even funny. Gl on Anaheim, I'm on them as well -1.5 to complete tonight's parlay.

Pittsburgh Penguins Regulation Win:

This is part two of my Ottawa loss chase, and also I believe Pittsburgh will play desperate in terms of early season hockey. Sid or Geno finally break through for a few, and I get rewarded. Due to the chase and my belief in this play, I am making my biggest play of the year and putting going to stake 150 to return 280.43 (130.43 profit) (bet365).

Washington Capitals Moneyline:

Caps looked bad last time out. With that said, they were unlucky to fall 5-0 after two empty netters and what I thought was a horrible call on the overturned Orlov goal. They couldn't get it going. Tonight, they will have their captain back after his little mishap and will play their systems on route to winning over a chicago team playing on a back to back.

New York Rangers Moneyline:

Just a regular 50 play here. I don't believe Montreal is a very strong team at all but they are in good form. Going to start a montreal loss chase here because they will fall soon. I believe it may be tonight to a Rangers team that has played some strong road games here in the early going.

From what I saw out of these two teams last games I like these picks. Toronto barely even deserves the win that they do have. Bobrovsky couldn't stop a beach ball the other night. Kessel and Crosby both highly motivated tonight. Backstrom back for a washington team that perennially dominate the hurricanes, who are also playing on a back to back. Trotz group looked very organized last time out and I believe theyll stand tall tonight. This is my most aggressive play this year but I believe in it.

Even though I'm sure this is probably the most square pick you could make tonight I still am going to take it. Habs giving up very few goals against. Looking for a well organized game with two solid squads. Carey seems to be set on looking for a shutout every night so hopefully.

This coyotes team has looked awesome. Domi and Duclair are flying. The only reason Boston is favoured here is strictly reputation of being a good team, nothing proven yet. So I'll take my chances on Arizona @ 1.95

Bad day yesterday down to 10-12-2 +196.63 dollars.

Tonight going to go with the san jose sharks moneyline. This team has looked great, tough to play against, not getting brutal goaltending like last season. Rangers starting raanta not lundqvist aswell. Sharks only loss was in nyi on a back to back. I believe that at + odds this is a solid play.

Montreal is not in St louis league. Stl will be up for this one with the undefeated streak on the line and will come out and play a more physical game and find a way to get some greasy ones past Carey. If not tarasenkshow will snipe him.

Took a little break there after getting too rattled over a bad week.

Sitting at 13-18-2 -120.33 on the season. Tonight going big with capitals 3 - way moneyline.

200 @ 2.15 TO RETURN 430! going big. I have been patiently awaiting a big play and I am confident that this is the one. Capitals have been off since friday awaiting their biggest rival. last year under Trotz the capitals clearly had pittsburghs number. They have two lines that are absolutely rolling, a dominant powerplay and a strong goalie. I believe this could be close through two periods but the capitals will prevail.
