Anaheim opened at -215 and closed at -224. They smoked Calgary in Game 1.

Yet the PL went from +140 to +165?

That is indeed strange but I always thought you would do well in hockey- much larger + moneys than any sport

puck line is a separate bet with its antithesis not being Calgary in this instance
but Calgary +1.5, hence, the Anaheim PL side is paired against the Calgary +1.5 side
so if the weight of bets increases on Calgary PL you see Anaheim PL rose.
Goals are not a given so more ppl felt the Flames could keep it within 1 than
felt Ducks would clear to 2.

Based on what, exactly? Wasn't Game 1 like 6-1?

I'm just comparing it to baseball -- you hardly ever see the ML go one way and the RL take such a huge turn in the other direction.

I saw -1.5 at +145 and +170 across different books yesterday...

Puck lines usually get far less action than ML sides or totals so the books were most likely adjusting for their own benefit
