yup.
the solution is to stop awarding any points for a tie or OT loss.
loss should be minus 1 point. tie zero. win plus 1. OT and no shootout.
shootouts are for mini one-on-one not NHL hockey.

I love hockey, it's the best game.
The loser point was Buttman's idea to get more interest for bad teams.
Keeps bottom feeders in playoff picture longer.
