    Philadelphia Flyers Are Woeful!
There's no other way to put it either---they absolutely stink!
As Jeff Carter said during the second intermission, one loss can drop you down to eighth place. If you can't get up for a game based on that, then there's something wrong with you.
Listen, if they can't beat the Toronto Maple Leafs, who in the heck are they going to beat in the postseason?
One goal against a 41-year old goaltender and a team that is 17 points back in the standings in game number 75 is actually totally embarrassing to be quite truthful.

    i agree.
they have not been up for any of the games lately.
i was at the last 2 home games (which they lost) and they look absolutely terrible.
i mean come on losing to florida at home is a joke. the only one who skates full speed all the time is giroux.
its sad that we had to let upshall go, and make cap room for that bum #48. which is eating up a huge chunk of the cap. we shoulda known after last year being -22 (i believe) over 80 games. and now hes played a little over 20 games this season and had one good game. seems like he is bringing the team down with him. PLEASE HOMER GET RID OF HIM!

Agreed, they will have a tough time against the Penguins or Hurricanes in the first round. I don't think they make it out of the first round.

Briere will not be in a Flyers jersey next season.

Oh and speaking of terrible, how about Biron on that third Leave goal?
Come to think of it, aren't Briere and Biron good french buddies?
        Interesting.

they always play the penguins tough. so if thats who they face it will be a good series. also it all depends what biron shows up too. hes been up and down like the stock market.

Leafs are moneymakers as dogs late this season, Philly is already thinking about the playoffs and not interested in reg season games against non playoff bound teams, many young Leaf players play motivated as they are eager to impress coaches and earn a spot on next years team.

Leafs are dangerous at this time of year, not an automatic win as you might expect.

yeah, but in the eastern conference you lose to a non-playoff team, 3 teams will jump ahead of you in the playoff race.

Hockey teams that "must win" are at a disadvantage at this time of the year, and they are usually favourites, non playoff bound teams have no pressure and are dangerous opponents.

they will bounce back in playoffs. if they make it at this rate....but 1 goal against a 41 year old goaltender...come on now.....giroux is the only one hustling anymore, hes a great grinder, the next forsberg....but they will trade him in a few hrs and he will go on to be an allstar like all the other players.....lets go flyers wtf...get back to smoking crack or nailing broads or whatever it is you guys do to win......

                      yeah i sure hope so.
If we dont win at home on friday vs the leafs, our playoffs hopes are going to dwindle away. :[
hopefully they can rally around the home crowd, and smoke them by 3 goals.
