    Bizarre day of hockey
Maybe I'm just not seeing things right lately but saw today as a great day for backing teams that normally have a huge home ice advantage.
Did play Nashville +1 in a parlay, but unfortunately was with Pens +1.5
Also had Sharks ML as they had been a force at home and Blues should have been a bit fatigued and hadn't been playing well on the road.
    And then the Bruins!
This team has been bad at home...
Then the Rangers, Devils, Coyotes, and Jets (All mediocre home teams), completely romp the visitors.
just seems the last couple weeks have been strange in nhl...maybe this happens around the holidays?

Penguins went down 1-0 less than 3 min in due to error by refs. Penguins are a team which starts strong and takes the initial lead and build on that. Otherwise they are chasing which doesn't suit them and usually they lose the match where they are trailing. I'm not saying Pittsburgh would win if they made a correct call and disallow the goal but it's one of those could-a should-a would-a situations and refs didn't help with it at all. They are also still banged up and missing some good players, especially Martin and Maatta in defense are visible.

Sharks are unstable team playing according to warm and cold principle so good luck with capping them.

Other than that it's pretty much normal where every team can beat any other. Mediocre teams are bound to win every now and then as well so that's no surprise they crush somebody on home ice. Who wouldn't be sick of losing so many games? So once things go their way, might as well win in a high fashion and go back to sucking.

But I feel you, before December I couldn't lose, now I can hardly pick a winner (minus the shootouts).
