LT, with you on the Islanders but why the UNDER in the Colorado game? Phoenix is starting a goalie that hasnt even played this year and Colorado is starting a Raycroft, who is their backup I believe. Both team give up a little over 3 goals a game anyway.

Avs have scored two goals or less in seven straight games and in nine of their last 10, and they scored just three in the other one. Coyotes scored six goals at home the other night, but they have scored two goals or less in eight straight road games.

Some -1.5 lines have more value late in the year when there is greater probablity of a two-goal win by a team fighting for the playoffs (or better seeding) playing against a dead team,

The Isles are the first +1.5 team I have taken all year, and this is a case where I think the Isles will give Caps a battle, but I feel more comfortable getting the +1.5 at + odds than I am with calling the outright upset.

Total screwjob on that Islanders game, they shutout detroit a few games ago and now they give up 3 consecutive goals to the Caps. What a joke.
