The Penguins are dealing with a laundry list of injuries. Sure they still have Malkin and Crosby but the talent of the wingers on their lines isn't there right now. Kunitz, hornqvist, Bennett, Dupuis are all out. In addition maatta and letang are not playing on defense. It's just a injury depleted roster right now.

Penguins missing a lot of players for sure and if you look at Rangers they are doing quite well recently when not facing Tampa. Rangers or pass for me here.

talk about motivation... i threw a unit(to win) once i read the article and dug around a little bit. never underestimate emotion in sports.
