Red Wings Will Be An Early Exit From The Postseason

Main reason: weak goaltending!
I would think that each of the other 7 Western Conference teams that qualify for this yeat's postseason will be stronger in nets and at least five of them will be considered much stronger.
San Jose, Calgary, Vancouver, Columbus and Chicago can all be considered to have much better netminding than Detroit.

The other two clubs that happen to round out the final cut, be it Edmonton, St. Louis, Nashville or Minnesota are also stronger between the pipes than the Wings as well. Chris Osgoode is quite simply inconsistent and his partner Ty Conklin certainly doesn't have the playoff experience.

Should be very good series value this NHL postseason wagering against the Red Wings.

That's what I'm trying to do, but the over/unders are just bullshit as well. I'm 1-5 this weekend betting over/under 5.5 so far. Got under 4.5 in VAN-CHI now and it's not going to happen either if they keep shooting each other to pieces like they have been doing in the second and third. Unless Luongo actually pulls a shutout.

Overall I'm down almost 40 units this weekend and pissed.

Rofl, OK wtf just happened in VAN-CHI. I'm not watching the game, just got a livescore / updates running, and it's listing two 10 min penalties as well as a 5 min and a 2 min, at the same time with VAN on a PP?

Insane, there was two major brawls within one minute of eachother apparently, on top of two other unrelated penalties, leading to 3 man out for both teams. I've never, EVER seen so many penalties in so short a space of time in all my years of watching hockey.

And it pisses me off because it's probably lost me the wager. The rink is so open now my granny could get a good breakaway and an opportunity to score.

It was a livebet with Bet365 (I'm european). "Price" was 2.30 times my money back (and the score was just 1-0 VAN at the time). Or in other words, play with 10 and you win 13 units (net, 23 total).

It ended 4-0. Sweet justice to win some cash back after everything dropping this weekend. Although I should wire some over the winnings to Luongo, in the end it was his shutout that ensured I cashed.
