Joey Macdonald goaltender for the Islanders, is an X redwing goaltender.(nhl source) He had to prove he should have never been traded and stopped 42 shots against his former club to record a shutout. Last night the Islanders played Philly. To prove once again they have there shit together but its a little to late int he season to make the playoffs. I believe the reason Philly BARELY won that game is because they went into the game thinking hey, Islanders have nothing to play for lets take an easy, well they were wrong and almost lost the 2 crutial points they needed! As for the Redwings, i believe they did the same, BUT Islanders goaltender ManDonald, Had something to play for and prove.

Dont expect the Wings to fail against the Predators tonight though, ..

Redwings VS Predators OVER 5.5 (-120)

As for the Flyers they won 4 of their last 5 games. They are currently battling for the 4th seed in the Eastern conference with the RED HOT Carolina Hurricanes, 4th seed will give that team home ice advantage. As for the Flyers, home ice advantage shouldnt be a concern, last season they went to the Eastern Conference Championship, without home ice advantage in all the play off rounds! The Bruins will be with out Phil Kessel again who has 31 goals this season, Bruins top goal scorer. But that didn't stop them when they played against Toronto, and won 7-5. Expect both clubs to light the lamp tonight numerous times. Oh and Nittymaki si in net for the Flyers, bad news for them, i dont liek his style of play in my opinion.....

Thank for the info PG, good stuff.
I did 2 parlays for the early games...
DET and CLB ML - pays a bit better that even
and the OVER in both games - pays 3-1

I can't wait for the Canucks-Blackhwaks game later, probably another OVER there. Both these teams are playing a lot of high scoring game's lately. Vancouver will need to open things up and generate a lot of offence if they want to keep up with the high-flying 'hawks.
