the east was awful. Bruins had no defense-man all idiot rookies (Seidenberg is top defenseman and was out, McQuaid was out). Pittsburgh chokes every year (usually goaltending).

West is loaded. SJ, LAK, ANA, CHI, STL.... all top teams that would beat any team in the East.
