final moving day here, here are some plays I'm looking into

for playoff matchups:

Red wings @ Blues, Avs @ Ducks

On both the Blues and Avs, neither these teams want to face the blackhawks in the first round. Ducks don't have anything to play for and neither do the red wings. Plus, the red wings might want to rest for their big matchup with the bruins.




for draft lottery position:
Carolina @ Philly - 3pm

Carolina currently 7th in the lottery tied with the canucks... but are on the wrong end of the tiebreaker. All 3 matchups this year went on the under 5.5.

Islanders @ Sabres - 5pm
Fading the islanders or betting the under here. The islanders are 4th in the draft lottery, tied with the flames. Plus, the sabres might be looking to win on home ice for the season finale. (however sabres have lost 10 of the last 11)

Flames @ Canucks - 9pm

how hard the flames play might depend on the ny islanders result. vancouver is in a similar boat, they're 6th in the lottery tied with carolina (canes play at 3pm).... how intense this game will depend on earlier games results imo. 3/4 games have went on the under 5.5



VERY important to check starting goalies and last minute lineup scratches. But I believe there could be some edges here

Going on the under for the blues games, too many big scorers missing.

avs and the flames/canucks look like strong plays
