I don't think what other teams are doing has any impact on the game. They are pretty much eliminated from the playoffs barring a miracle. Reimer is between the pipes and he has been shakier than the earthquake in Chile. Leafs have won two in a row at home and that is good enough for them. Not to mention they have been playing like trash.
