Have the Maple Leafs given up completely?

I don't know if the Leafs have given up completely, but I know the fans have. When they lost their 5th or 6th game of the skid was when I gave up on the playoffs... the team is in absolute shambles. They're trying obviously, just seems like a case of gripping the stick a little too hard, no bounces going our way, and the top players aren't playing like top players (Phaneuf, Clarkson, top lines gone cold, Kadri sucks sh*t). Absolute collapse of monumental proportions....

I can see the Leafs opening around -130 for all the folk who believe they are "due" for a win. The value will most certainly be on the Calgary side, but ya gotta figure Toronto has to win one eventually, right?? Calgary is one of the winnable games we have left, and maybe we squeak one out on the Florida swing, but I wouldn't count on much more than a win or 2 with these last 6 games.

This slump they are in has made me a lot of money betting the spread against them. i would not take them against the flames. although the Flames got blown out yesterday in OTT i think they will make the leafs work for a win tuesday. I would only bet against them for the rest of the season.

Thanks for the input guys. If they lose against the Flames then lose to the Bruins that will be 10 in a row. Their last home game will be against the Jets two days later. Kessel, JVR and Gunnarson didn't practice due to soreness and Bernier might have a cold. Still going to bet Leafs.
